ICDD / Ambassador Programs - With funding from our ICDD grant we have expanded our Ambassador Program to include AALP (Alliance Ambassador Leadership Program), which is a training program to allow others to facilitate and create Ambassador Programs as a self-contained unit. The Ambassador Program includes creating webinars using Self Advocates to train, advocate, and help those we serve. We use all of our efforts to train self advocates to learn to speak up and speak out for themselves in their homes, communities, their state and beyond.
ICADV - Envision Project - Working with ICADV - Envision to help individual self-advocates find their voice and reach their potential as they interact with state and local governmental bodies.
AAPD - The purpose of the grant was to train, support and provide resource regarding healthy sexuality and relationships for the ID/DD community.
