Humanitarian Social Innovations

In 2022, Humanitarian Social Innovations served 48 programs locally, nationally, and internationally. A notable achievement for 2022 has been the impact of hsi program, restore ukraine. The relief funds raised by restore ukraine have provided daily food for 3500+ people of kharkiv. That is 300 tons of food along with 4500 hygiene kits and 800 tons of building materials used to rebuild 40 apartments damaged by missiles. Women who flee a domestic violence situation usually do so with only what they can easily and inconspicuously carry with them. Hsi program blessed beginnings provides these women with a starter basket of household supplies to help them get started in their first home upon leaving the shelter. If children are involved, they also provide items such as toys or books so that each child can start with something of his or her own. Since its launch in 2021, blessed beginnings had provided 70 baskets to 6 partner organizations in reading, pottsville, berwick, bethlehem, and allentown.
