Homemade Hope for Homeless Children

Held weekly culinary classes with clildren and their parents and weekly in-person and virtual culinary programs at partner sites throughout Houston. Worked with children to prepare holiday celebrations where children learn about the history and traditions of the holiday while joining in the preparation of their food. Continued a partnership with Urban Harvests mobile farmers market for a nutrition and culinary education program teaching families how to select, prepare, and store the produce sold at cost by the market. Hosted over thirty summer field trips helping children connect with community outside their circumstances.
