Provided Adoption information, education and assistance to eight prospective adoptive couples and assistance to five adoptive couples who adopted in the past through this Agency. The Adoption information, education and assistance to the eight prospective adoptive couples includes, but is not limited to the following services: facilitating background studies, gathering information from their references, several meetings to educate them about Adoption and the Adoption process and compiling information about the couple for completion of the home study assessment report required for any adoptive couple to be able to adopt. The assistance to the five adoptive couples who adopted in the past through this Agency was to provide information in response to their questions or concerns.
Advertising and presentations about Holy Family Catholic Adoption Agency. Obtaining legal advice about release of information of an adopted child. Information technology and professional insurance for the Agency social worker. Provided education to community organizations regarding Adoption services.
Provide Adoption services and counseling to eight birth parents. These Adoption services can include, but are not limited to the following: counseling and education about Adoption and the Adoption process, contact with Holy Family Catholic Adoption Agency's adoptive couples who are ready to adopt and profiles and information about these adoptive couples. Two adoptions took place as a result of the work with the birth parents.
