Program areas at HHCH

The His House international program provides care for unaccompanied non-citizen minor children (uc) fleeing their home countries due togang violence, homelessness, economic hardship and abuse and who areseeking personal safety in the united states. The program's mainpurpose is to provide a safe and appropriate environment for uc duringthe interim period between their transfer into His House care and theirrelease from orr custody. From july 1, 2021 until june 30, 2022, the ucprogram served 987 clients and successfully discharged 884. Current uc services include residential shelter care and/or transitional fostercare, case management, mental health counseling, reunification/releaseplanning, medical coordination, onsite educational services.
The residential program provides care for children in the local community.this program served 235 children in the current fiscal year of july 1, 2021 until june 30, 2022. Children are provided with shelter care, case management, leisure activities, health, and mental health counseling.
The His House licensing department recruits, trains, conducts the licensing studies, and provides on-going support to foster parents inmiami-dade and broward county. At the end of fy 2022, we had 40 activefoster homes.
