Hillel Foundation at the University of Arizona

In 2022 through the end of fiscal year 2023, our Hillel Foundation served about 1,050 students at the University of Arizona. Although we serve anyone, we primarily serve jewish students on campus. We provide them with comprehensive opportunities to engage with peers and jewish life including through meals, holiday celebrations, affinity-group programming, cultural bonding, processing sessions, workshops, pastoral care, leadership training, and more. All of our work is student led and staff curated, giving students the opportunity to grow and hone significant leadership skills and senses of personal agency. Through our programming, we empower students to build a deep, meaningful, and diverse jewish community at the University of Arizona, as well as build strong connections with students at other cultural and religious centers.
