Program areas at High Desert Food & Farm Alliance
Food accessthrough signature programs like our grow & give program (fresh produce collection and delivered to our regional Food bank), fresh harvest kits ("ready-to-cook meal bags" with fresh produce that feeds a family of four), and veggierx (prescription program that provides fresh produce to patients), we bring fresh, nutritious produce to people experiencing Food insecurity throughout the central Oregon tri-county region.
Bipoc outreachhdffa is committed to making our Food system equitable for everyone including central Oregon's bipoc and rural communities. We are further committed to the promotion and enhancement of inclusive and accessible agritourism experiences for all, including bipoc community members and tourists, those with disabilities, and those who identfy as lgbtqia2s+.
Farmer supporthdffa partners extensively with farms and ranches to find agricultural support, offer mentorship, networking, and education classes. When funding allows, we provide on-farm efficiency grants to aid farmers and ranchers.
