Program areas at Helping Restore Ability

Consumer directed services (cds) - trained attendants provide the care and support systems for disabled individuals to live independently and function productively in mainstream society. This program empowers consumers to make personal decisions related to the delivery of personal assistance services and respite services within his or her current home and is offered throughout the entire state of Texas. 730,943 annual hours of services provided; average number of clients served per month 277.
Star plus - a managed care program for adults. Personal care assistance is provided to adults with various disabilities in the state of Texas who are assisted with non-medical personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding) and homemaker tasks (such as laundry, light housekeeping and grocery shopping). 472,312 annual hours of services provided; average number of clients served per month- 202.
Star kids - a managed care program. The program serves children and young adults ages 20 and younger with disabilities. Personal care assistance is provided to children with various disabilities in the state of Texas, who are assisted with non-medical personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding) and homemaker tasks (such as laundry, light housekeeping and grocery shopping). 197,834 annual hours of service provded; average number of clients served per month- 141.
