Program areas at HPS

Successful Families includes programs aimed at enhancing parent-child interaction and promoting the healthy growth and development of children leading to school readiness and life success. Programs for families with children through age 5 include B.R.A.I.N. (Building Readiness Among Infants Now), Healthy Families Martin-Okeechobee, Early Intervention, Behavioral Support for Pre-schoolers, Music and Movement/Playgroups, Infant Massage Instruction, and Happiest Baby Calming Instruction. Programs for children ages 5-17 include Behavioral Health Services - helping youth and their families to recognize qualities and abilities which lead to opportunities and community participation, after school and summer camp opportunities for youth focused on mental health, case management and case management wrap around services, one-on-one behavioral counseling, behavioral supported living, psychiatric services, and Behavioral Health Network Services.
Successful Futures includes Community Living programs which offers the opportunity for individuals with disabilites to develop a life style by experiencing all the resources within the community. The Community Living programs includes sub-contract work, community inclusion, volunteer opportunities, and community supported living. The Organization's volunteer force donated over 1,960 hours toward volunteer activities including Meals-on-Wheels, House of Hope, Florida Oceanographic Society, St. Lucie Botanical Gardens, Treasure Coast Humane Society and a charitable organization making quilts for babies, the infirmed and the elderly in Martin, St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties. Successful Futures also includes Employment Services which helps people succeed in securing and maintaining employment and provides supported living assistance to individuals with various levels and types of disabilities. The Employment services program includes supported employment and supported living.
