Helix Illinois NFP

In 2022 Helix worked with K-12 students in a few different programs. We hosted several after school programs across the community for Chicago Area High School students. We also worked with various Chicago Public Schools to come in and teach whole classes of students while also providing workshops to our community partners across the city. We continued to operate our cafe, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the not for profit. We also provide curriculum and professional development to a few schools in 2021 to help them meet their goals of providing 21st century skills development to their students. This included writing lesson plans and training teachers on how to deliver the lessons.
