Hki wellness screenings program for elementary students identifies potential issues & recommends referrals for follow-up & monitoring care. Hki screenings program screened approximately 17,000 students during the school year.
Hki created Healthe perceptions, a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to addressing social-emotional wellness in middle schools. It focuses on prevention & education, screening & making connections to care. When needed, the foundation seeds qualified mental health professionals within the district & works to implement a medicaid reimbursement model. Approximately 2,200 students participated in the curriculum during the school year.
Hki wellness center in belton, Missouri, caters to an under-served population where suburban sprawl intersects a rural community. As of 12.31.2022, with a grant from the patterson family foundation, the st. sabina wellness center became an independent 501(c)(3) organization.
Healthe foundations, hki's free high school health curriculum teaches teens how to take charge of their health, showing how decisions they make today can shape their futures. Approximately 7,000 students participated in the curriculum during the school year.
Hki has built innovative population health models & programs that are able to be replicated domestically & globally. Through metrics, data analysis, research, outcomes, & publications these population health initiatives are continually evaluated, enhanced, & prioritized.
