Program areas at Health Imperatives

Health Imperatives' mission is to improve the Health and well-being of low-income, vulnerable families and individuals in southeastern Massachusetts. Our key programs are: (1) sexual and reproductive Health care, including screening, testing, treatment, and preventive services; (2) nutrition assistance for women, infants, and children (wic); (3) emergency shelter, crisis counseling, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sexual exploitation; (4) home visiting services for young parents; (5) Health services for court-involved youth and adults; and (6) supports for incarcerated people living with hiv/aids and hepatitis c. during fiscal year 2022, Health Imperatives served more than 27,750 individuals.
