Program areas at Hawthorn Foundation
Assists the Missouri governor, the department of economic development, and other economic development groups in enhancing the business climate of Missouri. Provides funds to the Missouri partnership to promote economic development in Missouri. Hosted lunch and dinner meetings for the department of economic development with representatives from various companies and to encourage investment in Missouri businesses and the relocation of businesses to Missouri.
The Missouri innovation campus collaborative focuses on expanding the innovation campus partnership and competency based learning model in public universities across the state.
The brac program is focused on military preparedness and tracks and oversees potential actions regarding military installations in the state of Missouri and the resulting impact changes that the installations would have on Missouri businesses and economic development.
