Hawaii Institute of Integrative Health

The foundation conducted 5 wellness/lifestyle programs with approximately 150-200 participants. These are called 10-day programs, but actually encompass more than 3 weeks; providing consultations with dr shintani, medical monitoring, labs, classes, meals, books, workbook, and supplies. Each program begins about a week before the core 10 days, with screening meetings and physical assessments, also orientation and introductory classes. Program results include documented consistent improvement in Health measures and reduced need for medication in many of the participants. The foundation also put on 38 free public presentations with an estimated total attendance of over 4,000 people.

The foundation also conducts a weekly radio show "healing and you" that promotes Health by announcing and disseminating the latest Health and medical information in the news and from the latest research. The radio show is the longest running Health talk show in Hawaii. Unable to quantify the number of individuals benefited.
