Program areas at HASC Center
Hasc residential services are dedicated to ensuring quality of life for individuals with developmental and intellectual challenges to ensure each individual has a warm and homelike atmosphere where their unique needs are met. Individuals are given opportunities to acquire greater independence, learn new skills and become integrated members of their communities.
Self- direction services: individuals and families receive assistance in managing their supports and services and assistance in allocating their funds toward memberships, classes, camp, transportation or any other opwdd service they prefer.
Hasc day habilitation program provides individuals the opportunity to learn practical life skills, develop friendships, and explore areas of personal interest within the community and on site.
Hasc vocational programs are an integrated hierarchy of programs where individuals can access training support at their level of need, with the goal of integration into the workforce.
Family support services
Hasc respite program include hourly and overnight respite, weekend and holiday, and after-school and sunday.
Community habilitation (com-hab) provides one-on-one, tailor-made programs to children and adults with developmental disabilities. This allows individuals with disabilities who are living at home to experience life skills training, community outings and activities otherwise inaccessible. This service is provided at home or in the community, during afternoon and evening hours, as well as sundays.
