Harpers Playground

Direct partnership & consultation: we worked as a direct inclusive Playground design consultant to two public playgrounds in vancouver, wa: esther short park & marshall park over the course of the entire year. We consulted on two separate vancouver public schools inclusive Playground designs; one at roosevelt elementary school and the other at ruth bader ginsberg elementary. We conducted 50+ individual consultations with community members who had downloaded our how-to book and sought 1-1 feedback on their individual plans.

Playground maintenance/programming:we planned and held cleanup events at several of our area playgrounds with special attention to ensuring our flagship Playground at arbor lodge park remains pesticide free which makes it a safer place for children experiencing disability and also especially for those children with medical fragility.

Direct educational engagement & open-sourced tool sharing: our how-to book was downloaded a total of 109 times by community members seeking our unique knowledge. We consulted with a unique project and team in selma, Alabama for a project titled foot soldiers park. This project will empower and educate the next generation of social justice advocates from around the globe.
