Program areas at HALI
Supported housing program the supported housing program is a state funded program designed to provide its participants with rent supplements to live independently in the community. The program offers each participant limited rent subsidies and the added support of a case manager.
Outreach program - hali assists people without stable housing in multiple ways: mobile shower unit, food pantry, clothing closet, and community meals.
Recovery services program - the community wellness and recovery center assist suffolk county residents to develop, maintain and improve their health and wellness. The center offers classes, presentations, activities, and special events, both at Hands Across Long Island and in the community. The program addresses the "eight dimensions of wellness and provides a mobile shower unit for the homeless in the community.
