PARTNERSHIPS AND ADVOCACY. 1)Affiliate Support Org (ASO): As the leadership body and state voice, leveraged Habitats collective impact to promote transformational change and improve home affordability. SC footprint: 1 ASO; 29 affiliates; 27 ReStores; 300 staff ; 15K volunteers; 33 counties.2)South Carolina Home Attainability Conference: Prominent contributor and Community Partner; 3)Community Engagement: Developed partnerships, financial support, and in-kind donations to broaden Habitats impact on housing needs.
Disaster Response1)Served as the primary coordinator and communicator between Housing Recovery Support Function (RSF)agencies and local Habitat affiliates. 2)Pre-identified Habitat points of contact and resources in likely disasteraffected areas.3)Provided tools, resources, and guidance to build the capacity of the Habitat community in the areas of disaster preparedness and recovery through education, training, and partnerships.
EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE. 1) Economic Impact Analyses (EIA): 1) Created local, regional and state EIA reports. 2) Hosted education and/or training sessions for Habitat attendees throughout 33 counties (focus: operations, management, resource development, ReStore, community engagement, advocacy, disaster services, volunteer engagement, construction, mortgage services).3) Habitat on the Hill State Coordinator and Cost of Home Field Organizer: Increased participation, training, and support across state.
