EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE. 1) Economic Impact Analyses (EIA): 1) Created local, regional and state EIA reports. FY2021 EIA quantified Habitats collective impact across SC as having invested $32.6MM, helping 257 families achieve their goal of homeownership, creating $51MM of total economic activity, and supporting 438 total jobs, paying nearly $19MM in labor income. 2) Hosted education and/or training sessions for Habitat attendees throughout 35 counties (focus: operations, management, resource development, ReStore, community engagement, advocacy, disaster services, volunteer engagement, construction, mortgage services). 3) Habitat on the Hill State Coordinator and Cost of Home Field Organizer: Increased participation, training, and support across state.
PARTNERSHIPS AND ADVOCACY. 1) Affiliate Support Org (ASO): As the leadership body and state voice, leveraged Habitats collective impact to promote transformational change and improve home affordability. SC footprint: 1 ASO; 29 affiliates; 27 ReStores; 300 staff ; 15K volunteers; 33 counties. 2) 2022 South Carolina Home Attainability Conference: Prominent contributor and Community Partner; 3) Community Engagement: Developed partnerships, financial support, and in-kind donations to broaden Habitats impact on housing needs.
