Program areas at Greenway Arts Alliance
In 2022-2023 Greenway Arts Alliance produced and co-produced three main stage shows, two live student shows, a month-long poetry festival, various music events, play readings and a podcast. Greenway, located on the campus of Fairfax High School, which has an enrollment of 1900, continues its tuition-free arts education programming for Fairfax High School (FHS) students through Greenway Institute for the Arts (GIA). Through GIA, Greenway placed 7 artists in LAUSD classrooms for both in-class and after-school project-based instruction and mentorship in drama, voice, and dance. GIA directly serves over 1100 students and indirectly over 1900 students currently enrolled at Fairfax High School and other LAUSD schools.
