Program areas at Greater Works Networks
In 2022 the GWN expanded our outreach to at-risk youth by contracting with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services to provide supervised visitation and family support services for youth in foster care, their foster families, and biological (non-custodial) parents.
In addition to the contractual services that we provided, the Greater Works Networks provided youth activities throughout the year. These events included providing school supplies, clothing, toiletries, and special gifts (not exceeding $100.00 per individual) to youth and their parents. We also provided outreach to Senior Citizens and COVID-19-affected adults with pantry products and compassion services. These events were sponsored by local business, generous individuals, and GWN revenues
