Small business assistance program (ola) - to improve the economic development and wealth building capacity of low income Hispanic and other minority populations in Washington, dc. The program achieves this goal by assisting latino district residents in opening businesses and providing technical assistance to existing busines owners who want to improve their operations.
Dslbd - to improve business nees assessment servides. To asses the needs of business owners operating within ward 6 of the district of columbia. This program includes indentifying challenges to, and opportunities for sustaining and expanding local businesses and identifiying services that could be made available to address the needs of business owners.
Dhcd - to help latino and minority owned businesses adjust to a changing market. Sepcifically, diverse neighborhoods in the area, such as mount pleasant, adams morgan, columbia heights, corridors in wards 4 and 5 and the adjacent counties are undergoing transformations which business owners are not easily adjusting to.
