During the year 18,435 nutritious meals were served as meals on wheels, grab & go and in a congregate setting for vermonters who are 60 years and older. 502 meals were delivered to disabled persons under the age of 60, authorized through the Vermont Center for independent living.
The Senior Center is used by the public as a space for social gatherings; i.e. For participation in activities such as exercise, craft classes, card games, wellness workshops, fundraising events and guest speakers. The public may also use the facility after hours for family dinners, birthday parties and meetings. The facility hosts aarp tax aides to help with income tax filings, monthly foot clinics and wellness clinics.
