Gmada is a voluntary organization of The majority of new car and truck franchised dealerships in The Greater eight county minneapolis/saint paul metropolitan area. Gmada operates The largest auto show in The upper midwest each year. Among other programs, gmada takes The responsibility of keeping The public informed of The general high character and reputation of newly franchised Automobile and truck Dealers, news releases regarding The industry are furnished to newspapers and local radio and television stations. The organization has received national attention for their bbb advertising review program for helping dealerships in Minnesota maintain ethical standards in their advertising. The Minnesota attorney general has praised The program as an example of how an industry group can work with The bbb to promote ethical practices through self-regulation.
