Program areas at Grays Harbor Community Foundation

Through our Community Grants Program last year, we awarded 136 grants to local nonprofit organizations and school districts in 2017. We were able to leverage donor advised and donor designated funds to award grant requests that ranged between $1,000 - $30,000. We supported organizations in 12 out of the 13 communities in Grays Harbor to better achieve their mission(s).

Through designated funds and our Community Grants program, in 2017 we sent over 4,000 elementary school students on educational and cultural field trips both in and outside of Grays Harbor County.

In 2017, we awarded 334 scholarships to students who reside in Grays Harbor County or graduated from a Grays Harbor County high school through our Scholarship Program. Our scholarships are renewable at variable amounts for an additional 3 years to support undergraduate and vocational studies.
