Social media - Grandmothers for Reproductive Rights forwards its mission of advocacy and education in many ways by story-telling, sharing information, hosting events, building a community of activists and collaborating with other organizations focused on Reproductive justice on our social medial platforms. Our stories create a funnel from awareness and engagement to activism and donations.
Advocacy - through bi-partisan educational outreach, legislative testimony, writing letters to the editor, and telling first-hand stories, grr! Activists advocate for federal, state, and local initiatives that support safe and legal access to Reproductive health care, and justice Rights for all individuals. We support grr!s in becoming informed citizens and voters so all generations learn to healty choices and work to combat shames and stigma related to our sexuality.
Education - Grandmothers for Reproductive Rights education committee outreaches to the community through education events (story-telling, speaker series, demonstrations, letter writing) as a way to disseminate the grr! Mission to ensure the accessibility of Reproductive health and justice for all people. Through these public activities, we encourage all activists, old and young, to join our work.
