Program areas at Grand Performances
The 2022 season featured an eclectic mix of 21 global and local music, jazz, hip-hop, flamenco, cumbia, electronic music, tropical funk and soul with live bands, djs, family programming and dance Performances all presented free to the public. 48 individual artists/ensembles received competitive artistic compensation for their Performances and helped promote events to their networks through social media and word of mouth. Select shows were live-streamed in real-time on social media platforms reaching more than 40,000 people. All Performances were digitally recorded and rebroadcast on youtube and facebook, where they live permanently for on-demand viewing with more than 175k views.
