Program areas at Goodwill Industries of the Redwood Empire
Operation of fifteen (15) retail stores, online sales, e-waste and recycling programs, and sales of surplus donated goods to salvage customers is the number one expression of our mission. Through these activities we employ individuals with barriers by providing work skills development, as well as providing work training opportunities to program clients.
Goodwill Industries of the Redwood Empire is a non-profit organization that offers employment, education and related services to adults and transitional-aged youth expereincing a disadvantaging condition. Goodwill defines disadvantaged individuals as those with a barrier to employment such as a disability, a criminal background, and/or a low education level. Goodwill has shown a commitment to expanding occupational opportunites for people with special needs. Job training and employment play a critical role in our philosophy of empowering individuals. Job placement is one of the measures of our success.
