Grants to the Hospital and supporting organizations or programs for operating and capital costs.there was grant funding for the operations of the mario pastega guest house. This will help indigent families to stay near the Hospital when they or their family members are receiving care at the Hospital. Program grants in 2022 included funding for several Hospital programs, and funding for research grants to Oregon state university.see schedule i, part ii for a listing of 2022 grants.

Provided assistance to Hospital patients in need. This assistance is shown on schedule i, part iii.

Provided emergency financial assistance to Hospital employees who are experiencing an unexpected financial need, the cause of which is beyond the employee's control. Acceptable funding requests may include: eviction notification, utility turn-off notifications, past due medical bills, and unexpected/unplanned expenses. See schedule i, part iii.

Scholarships provided for students currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in health care related field. Scholarships are available to individuals without regard to race, religion, national origin, gender, age, color, disability, or marital status. Special consideration is given to applicants who are currently employed in the health care field and to members or veterans of the u.s. military. See schedule i, part iii.
