Good News Foundation of Central New York

Scheidelman scholarships were distributed to 70 students attending 4 local area catholic schools allowing the students to strengthen their educational Foundation and spiritual growth. Totaling $24,000. A st. elizabeth ann seton scholarship was granted to 1 student totaling $1,252.

Life cycle progression funds were spent on programs focusing on enhancing relationships through faith and communication skills for marriage and family life. These programs include the third option, an ongoing program to help build better marriages through expressing and communicating feelings effectively. Other programs include grief survivors, separated & divorced, parents of addicted loved ones and a continuing bible study series. These programs focus on healing and spiritual renewal. We also offered theology uncorked, a program where people can ask questions related to their faith to a speaker specializing in a chosen topic. We also offer a support program called caregivers support group to help individuals who care for a loved one.

Proceeds from our flags for heroes event were awarded to sitrin's military rehabilitation programs. These programs include many different therapy types as well as retreats and adaptive sports.
