Mobile Meals - During restructuring, TGNCK paused the intake of new clients and only provided recurring services for its 600 non-Veteran and 220 Veteran clients fighting food insecurity. TGNCK ofered one- time assistance to those in need, who are not current clients, by providing 60 non-Veteran households (average 5 person household) with one-time support in the form of fresh groceries (meat, fruit, and produce) or gift cards. TGNCK has also fed 85 unsheltered homeless Chicago teenagers by providing backpack kits filled with food essentials easily preparable in any environment.
Hygiene Heroes - Provided three Chicago Public Schools, 23 Prince William County Schools, and three Fairfax County Public Schools with socks, non-persishable food items, and hygiene essentials on a recurring basis.
