Golf Brevard

By contract with the county, parks and recreation manager (prm) is a non-voting member of the board and attends all monthly board meetings. The prm conducts and documents on-site operational reviews quarterly. Reviews are shared with the board and document that Golf Brevard operates and maintains the Golf courses in accordance with first-class standards. The Golf courses' physical conditions continue to improve. Excess revenue is reinvested in course maintenance and improvements. The organization continues to be self-sufficient. Total Golf rounds played during the 9/30/2024 fiscal year were 105,788, a decrease of 3.6% from the prior year and a 65.99% increase from the first year of operation. The reason for the reduction in rounds from the previous year was that spessard holland was closed for two months while they replaced the greens.
