Program areas at Global Ties Us
International visitors leadership program (ivlp): in collaboration with the department of state, we provided intense support to our network with preparing them for virtual programing, supporting them with hardware, software, training and administrative costs associated with preparing for virtual programing.
Global Ties u.sUs.s. Provides its members - from large, nationalcountries - with connections, leadership development, and professionalresources to ensure they are the strongest, most effectiveorganizations they can be. Our services include: 1) national leadershipand representation; 2) resources for nonprofit management; 3)professional development and training 4) financial resources in theform of sub-grants 5) educating and engaging congress; 6) internationalexchange program development and implementation; and 7) technology and communications support.
Police professionalization exchange program (ppep): we fully pivoted the police professionalization program to virtual through a series of intensive, multi-day webinar engagements as well as multi-week online trainings. Working with our community based members, we launched a community policing video series to complement live training sessions. In all, we served over 1,200 participants.
