Safety and justice reform in the republic of Georgia: grw completed two key projects in the republic of Georgia in 2022: a review of the implementation of the domestic violence risk assessment tool created (grada) in 2017-2018, and an assessment of service-delivery of the state- run domestic violence shelter system. Deliverables included a final report addressing each project area and facilitated meetings with key officials. Grw traveled to the republic of Georgia in may 2022 to conduct listening sessions with 31 survivors, meet with practitioners and key officials, and provide guidance on implementation reforms in a high-level interagency meeting with the ministry of internal affairs. Un Women in the region of asia-pacific-review of the essential services package: in 2022, grw completed a large multi-year effort to provide technical assistance, capacity building and knowledge management related to the united nation's guide on the essential services package for Women and girls subject to violence. In all, staff from 19 un Women country offices in the region engaged directly with grw in one or more activities: on-line learning events or information exchanges, customized technical assistance, an on-site training in viet nam, or survey responses. Through twelve substantial deliverables, grw identified and responded to technical assistance needs related to the project focus areas--including two practice-based papers--followed by an analysis of the project and recommendations for next steps in a detailed final report. Increasing safety of Women and girls in the philippines: in september 2022,grw began a multi-year project in the philippines, funded by cummins inc.,to improve the access for Women and girls to justice by working with Women's Rights organizations in the metro manila area. The initial phase of the work was focused on identifying organizations who share grw's goals and introducing grw and the project to them. This was done through on-line searching, interviews with organizational contacts, and networking. In october 2022, a team of three grw staff traveled to metro manila to meet with representatives of these organizations and local cummins, inc. staff. Eight in-person meetings were held during the visit, resulting in potential contacts for invitations to join a two-year learning cohort that grw will begin in 2023.
