GGF Global Greengrants

We make small grants in developing countries to grassroots groups and other non-profit organizations working to protect the environment, live sustainably, preserve biodiversity, and help people gain a voice in their own future. Grants go to startup groups and projects where a small amount of money can make a significant difference. We make grants to groups in more than 113 countries. To identify prospective grantees, we rely on a network of more than 220 volunteer advisors around the world who identify promising groups.the grant making process includes soliciting funding requests, evaluating the requests, and awarding the grants. The organization has advisory boards throughout the world who share grant making due diligence efforts with the administration office in boulder, Colorado. The organization finances its operations through donations and grants from individuals, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
