The Eye Bank also promotes and provides education pertaining to Eye donation. In 2022, the Eye Bank provided over 1,700 sight-restoring corneas for transplant, many of which were provided for a reduced processing reimbursement or gratis. Registered with the u.s. food & drug administration and accredited by the Eye Bank association of america, Georgia Eye Bank, Inc. Operates under strict medical, ethical and professional standards.
