Program areas at GC

Generation Citizen supported 442 teachers in 7 states to deliver civics training to 28, 135 students during the 2021 - 2022 school year. We engaged with ma partners to successfully advocate for $2 million in funding for schools to implement teacher pd and curriculum for civics, supported continued implementation of rhode island's 2021 civics bill, and led an interim study with Oklahoma policymakers on access to equitable civics education.
