Program areas at Gender Equity Policy Institute

Research, analysis, and publications: To identify areas of improvement and intervention we research and disseminate information on the best practices for advancing gender equity. The institute conducts data-based impact gender assessments of policies and practices across a broad range of issue areas. All research reports are disseminated and publicly available on our website and social media platforms.
Educational programs: GEPI carries out and participates in educational activities and events, such as seminars, trainings, and conferences, in order to educate policymakers, business leaders, and the general public about gender inequality and measures to advance opportunity and well-being for people of all genders.
Gender equity technical assistance initiative:GEPI provides technical expertise and assistance to nonprofit organizations, professional societies, business, and government agencies on gender-responsive policies and practices. Work underaken in this program area includes: trainings on how to conduct gender audits; crafting gender quity plans, policies, and statements; assessing organizational activities to develop model policies and implement best practices to advance gender equity internally and externally; and technical assistance on data-based DEI assessment.
