Gary Peters Family Foundation

The Foundation initiated a scholarship program in 2019 approved by the internal revenue service on march 7, 2019. The purpose of the program is to provide scholarship grants to deserving immigrants and foreign students, minority students and low-income students. Eligible students who attend recognized educational institutions with expenses such as tuition, fees, and other educational expenses are considered based primarily upon financial need and academic achievement. The number of grants, the amount of each grant and the purpose of each grant will be made by a scholarship committee on a case-by-case basis. In 2022 one student applied for, and received a scholarship grant, the student was a foreign country citizen and attended college in the u.s.
