Program areas at Garrett County Historical Society

Publishes "glade star" 4 times per year which is mailed free of charge to approximately 500 members
Special tours were held in prior years for teachers from Maryland counties and forest rangers from all over the state of Maryland
Maintains and operates the Garrett County Historical museum. In 2023 over 12,000 people toured the museum including various school groups - which was much more like normal than previous years due to the pandemic.
