In 2022, total grants awarded by the community foundation from the Fund for Women endowment amounted to $70,457.2) through the Fund for Women empower grant to an area non-profit. the Fund for Women named arbor housing & development as the first recipient of this grant. In 2022 the organization granted $50,000 to arbor housing & development. Women who are residents of steuben, chemung, schuyler or yates counties and receive case management through arbor's family self-sufficiency, domestic violence, or supportive housing programs can apply for an individual empower grant through arbor. Grant award decisions will be made by a three-member committee and have a maximum disbursement of $1,500 per person.3) through grants to individuals from the mary alice bosseler wigs for cancer patients Fund.
