"a leadership training program introducing individuals to the community and paving the way for tomorrow's leaders". Leadership Frisco is a community leadership program sponsored by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce dedicated to developing a pool of well-informed, highly motivated individuals qualifed to assume leadership roles in the community. The nine-month program will increase the participant's knowledge of the city and county and provide an opportunity to explore the inner workings of the government, education system, economic development and private and non-profit organizations of Frisco.
Women enhancing business is the women's division of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce with a mission to provide female business owners, managers, and employees the opportunity to meet, advise, support, mentor, network and encourage one another in order to promote the success of the businesses, as well as providing opportunities for the members & guests to connect and learn more about the community.
Young entrepreneurs academy is a yearlong program that transforms middle and high school students into real, confident entrepreneurs. Throughout the class, students develop business ideas, write business plans, conduct market research, pitch their plans to a panel of investors, and actually launch and run their own real, legal and fully formed companies and social movements. The local business community provides students with guest speakers and behind the scenes trips to businesses. Yea! Empowers students to take charge of their future.
