Friends of Western Pa Cares for Kids

The organization interviewed 95 children for suspected child abuse and held 12 multidisciplinary team meetings for case review in order to keep abreast of the status of each case that has used the forensic interview process, thus keeping everyone accountable for their part in child abuse investigation and prosecution. The organization also perfomed 23 medicals evaluations. The organization also conducted training for mdit teams so that they would be better prepared to conduct interviews. Training was also provided to mdt members in the reid technique of investigative interviewing and positive persuasion for child abuse investigations.
