Friends of the Woodcrest Community Library

Friends of the Woodcrest Community Library's mission is to financially support programming for the library. This year, they initiated a Children's Learning Garden program which required start-up expenses like fencing, building raised planting beds, acquiring soil and plants resulting in significant costs. Normally, their largest program is the Summer Reading Program but this year it was the second largest due to the necessary expenses for the new Children's Garden Program. The Summer Reading Program awards prizes to readers of all ages.
