Program areas at Friends of SCRAP
Solicit donations of usable materials from business, industry and families in the Bay Area. We display and sell this material in our public, 5,000 square foot Depot in San Franciscos Bayview neighborhood. We conducted 6 free teacher workshops in 2022, each of the 60 teachers attending received a 25 gift certificate.
SCRAP provides classes and field trips to students in K-12 grades. These events stress the importance to the environment of reuse while also enabling the students to express themselves creatively.
