The Friends provide major support for the Refuge education program which served over 5000 students and many visitors. Our funding includes for support for the AmeriCorps volunteer and Education Coordinator, the Summer lecture series, the Flyway newsletter, the interpretative program and the Refuge Volunteer program. Program areas at Friends of Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge Complex

The Friends provide major support for the Refuge education program which served local students, teachers, and visitors. Our funding includes support for the Education Coordinator, the summer lecture series, the Flyway newsletter, and the online Nisqually Watershed Festival. Due to limited Refuge operations in response to the Covid-19 pandemic our activities were somewhat less than in a more normal year.
