Program areas at Friends of Barnabas Foundation
FOBs Community Health Development Program served 30 communities in the mountains of Honduras. Communities were provided preventative health education as well as medical,dental, and vision services. Children and women were provided a one year suppply of vitamins and all in need were provided anti-parasite medication. Rural Health volunteers were trained in emergency services.
FOBs Early Childhood Development Program provided children and families with educational information to support early intervention and improved parental interactions. The Program also provides continuing education in a certification course for NICU nurses.
FOBs Extended Care Program provided care to more than 250 children with extensive medical needs. The program also provided medications, patient care plans, specialist visits, and surgeries for children in need.
