Program areas at Freedoms Journal Institute for the Study Policy
Freedom'Freedoms's Journal Institute began hosting the bcs in 2013. We hosted four of them before covid. We believed we should do it again. One of our main objectives was to let black conservatives realize they were not alone, thus making it easier to speak out on issues that concerned us most. Second was to make it easier for black conservatives to come out of the closet, speak out, and vote for their values. It was initially scheduled for september 2022, but we rescheduled it for march 2023 to provide more time to raise sponsorship support, sell tickets, and market the summit. $56,750 of the expenses includes the event planning and convention rental spce fees; $35,700 for video production costs and the remainder amount for advertising and contractor expenses.
