Freedom School Partners (FSP) main program service is to inspire scholars to love reading and leaning, believe in themselves, and create extraordinary futures. During the 2022 summer, FSP operated 12 Freedom School sites across Charlotte, serving 605 scholars. FSP collaborated with 100 enrichment providers and managed over 1,500 afternoon programs. More than 18,000 books were distributed to scholars to build home libraries. FSP provided 675 back-to-school kits to scholars, community members and teachers contained more than 50,000 school supply items.
