General program areas:frc Action is utilizing personal meetings with legislators, tv, radio and internet ad campaigns, targeted grassroots mobilization, petitions, and more to advocate pro-family policies. FRC Action communicates to grassroots supporters on a regular basis through Action update emails, Action alerts, and Action press releases. At the grassroots level, FRC Action worked daily to place strong pressure on senate and house members by scoring key votes, sending millions of e-mail alerts to voters, and working with allied organizations. In 2019, over 1,500 bills relating to life, Family, marriage, and religious liberty were introduced in state legislatures across the country. At the state level, FRC Action tracked this legislation on these critical issues. FRC Action worked closely with allies in a number of states to assist in the passage of good legislation. Voter education and mobilization efforts:conservatives looking for true hope and change are engaging with FRC Action in growing numbers. In fiscal year 2019, our social media presence saw increasing gains on our facebook and other platforms. FRC Action created many alerts, social media graphics, and informational materials in fy 2019. We were able to raise pastors', churches', and individuals' awareness of religious freedom violations throughout the country, as well as equip them so that they can defend their first amendment rights. Through our grassroots alerts, tens of thousands of activists were able to contact their elected leaders to urge them to take the right positions on important legislation. We also conducted get-out-the-vote efforts such as phone banking and door knocking in key swing states where we contacted hundreds of thousands of voters. Values voter summit:cnn has named our annual values voter summit (vvs) "one of the conservative movement's marquee annual events and sean hannity called it "the premier conservative event now in the country." The september 2018 vvs saw nearly 1,800 people attend. It included a dynamic line up of nearly120 speakers and attracted nearly 170 reporters. Speakers included vice president mike pence, senate majority leader mitch mcconnell, dr. ben carson, oliver north, brigitte gabriel, michele bachmann, david daleiden, dr. bill bennett, dana loesch, secretary of state mike pompeo, jack phillips, rep. mark meadows, gov. Matt bevin, and many other nationally-recognized conservative leaders. In fiscal year 2019, FRC Action's team mounted an increased effort to build on the success of this event and again make the upcoming october 2019 values voter summit a premiere event for values voters.
