Fire operations- Respond to approximately 220 fire? rescue calls, including structure fire, brush fires, emergency medical service calls, Replace or upgrade worn out or damaged equipment, tools and PPE.
Fire station and Vehicle maintenance, duel and insurance , including fire station occupancy and supplies and telephone/IT expenses required to provide fire rescue services. Performed ongoing fire station maintenance to ensure that out vehicles and equipment are protected, and that the volunteers have a safe and useful place to train and meet.
Training and Volunteer Recruitment/Retention-Conducted weekly volunteer firefighter training on basic and intermediate firefighting and EMS skills. Conducted a blended firefighter-1 volunteer academy for 3 of our volunteers.
Public Education and Youth Outreach- Hosted station tours with demonstration and displays for the public. Supported the Boy Scout Troop and Cub scout pack that out department charters.
